How to measure for combination doors:
Measure the width and length of the storm door only, add two inches
to width of storm door and one inch to height which gives you the
rough opening size. A storm door that is 32" wide by 75" tall would
have a rough opening of 34" x 76". Also, you could remove the
molding on the inside of the home and measure the rough opening.
Give special attention to which side the hinges are on looking at the
door from the outside of the house. Hinges on the left, it’s a left hand.
Hinges on the right, it’s a right hand.
